ABOUT HWTC
It all began in 2018, with a dream, a stage, and The Music Man. That first production was more than just a show—it was the start of something special. A handful of passionate performers, volunteers, and dreamers came together with a vision: to bring live theater to the heart of Horizon West. That vision became Horizon West Theater Company.
Today, Horizon West Theater Company is a 501(c)(3) non-profit community theater dedicated to celebrating and nurturing the performing arts. With the support of generous donors and sponsors, we’ve grown from that first curtain call into a vibrant creative home for artists of all ages and experience levels. Our mission is simple but powerful: to inspire, educate, and connect our community through the magic of theater. Whether you're stepping into the spotlight, painting a set, managing the lights, or clapping in the audience, there’s a place for you here.
We offer a rich variety of opportunities for kids, adults, and families to engage in the arts. Our Mainstage season features full-scale productions where community members shine, both onstage and off. Through our classes and workshops, students can explore everything from directing and dialects to improv and stage management—all for an accessible, nominal fee. We even host free Open House sessions, so anyone in the community can dip a toe into the world of theater without any commitment.
