Allyson has spent the last five years in Central Florida as a performer, educator, choreographer, music director, and theme park entertainment coordinator. While earning BAs in both Dance and Music Education from Texas Woman’s University, she became passionate about adapting the knowledge and skills she gained to theatre and entertainment settings, with the goal of becoming and inspiring well-rounded artists and storytellers.

In addition to performing with theatre companies across Central Florida, Allyson has performed in Universal Orlando’s holiday offerings, served as an assistant choreographer for Orlando Family Stage’s Youth Academy, coordinated entertainment offerings at Walt Disney World, served as a music director for Horizon West Theatre Company’s Rising Stars, and taught dance classes at a variety of locations, primarily as part of Studio K’s mobile team.

Before moving to Orlando, she was a middle school choir and theatre teacher in Dallas ISD. Allyson is thrilled to be teaching at Horizon West Theatre Company, where her Central Florida theatre journey began!
